After almost five years of non-stop bangers, we have decided to shut down the 95 Degrees Radio bot.
The 95 Degrees Radio bot was custom-built by our extremely talented dev @VoidInVoid and added to the server in 2018, and supported song requests, rotating playlists, live shows, YouTube and Twitch support and jingles from day one.
The bot was updated in 2019 with ‘v2’, allowing for song ratings, a new schedule, event subscriptions, a song ticker, levels, leaderboards, and even a Windows client to add Rich Presence support. The bot was continuously updated with new features, like the live-updating #radio channel.
However, due to infrequent usage, issues with Discord and YouTube, server costs and most people preferring to use Spotify to listen music on their own, we’ve decided to bring the project to an end.
We want to say a huge thanks to VoidInVoid for developing the bot from scratch, and a thank-you to everyone that listened and participated. 95 Degrees Radio will play its final song on 4th May 2023 at 20:00. 💖 🫡
